Installation Instructions

In order to install CM Tools for Microsoft Office, you need to download the CM Tools Installer available from the location below:

http://download.morganits.com/installer/CMTools-Installer.xlsm

Open the file, you then need to trust the file and enable macros by clicking prompts similar to:

  • Exit Protected Mode
  • Enable Macros
  • Trust File

Click the button to Launch Install Manager

Click on the product you wish to install and then select to Download and Install to install the product.

Installing Legacy Versions of CM Tools for Excel

The CM Tools for Excel file you download, is an Excel Add-In (XLAM) type file. It needs to be downloaded to your AddIns folder. This can be found by opening Windows Explorer to:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\AddIns

This will translate in Windows 7 as:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns

Follow this procedure in Excel:

  • Reload Excel if already open
  • Click the File tab.
  • Click Options, and then click the Add-Ins category.
  • Near the bottom of the Excel Options dialog box, make sure that Excel Add-ins is selected in the Manage box, and then click Go.
  • In the Add-Ins dialog box, select the check box for CM Tools, and then click OK.
  • You will now find the “CM Tools” tab is available in the ribbon

Installing Legacy Versions of CM Tools for Word

The CM Tools for Word file you can download above, is an Word Template (DOTM) type file. It needs to be downloaded to your Word Startup folder. This can be found by opening Windows Explorer to:

%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

This will translate in WIndows 7 as:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

Download the file to the above location, it is recommended that you remove any old versions of CM Tools for Word at this point

Follow this procedure in Word:

  • Reload Word if already open
  • Click the File tab.
  • Click Options, and then click the Add-Ins category.
